Software Engineering Senior Advisor

This role has responsibility to assist in the delivery of engineering solutions on the Communication Platform collaborating with technical product owners, business product owners, campaign developers, other engineering teams, solution architecture, vendors, infrastructure, CIP, release management, and other partners. This role will be involved primarily with the production platform migration and automation of campaign solutions including initial job establishment, adding all required messaging, tracking and monitoring procedures. This role also includes night and weekend support should that be required to meet our client service level agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Unica Campaign Admin support for the following :
    • New Campaign initial migration and automation
    • Existing Campaign template transfers
    • New User Additions
    • User data / share folder access
    • Data source configuration
    • Audience creation
    • Segment creations / configuration
    • Set-up and monitor Adtempus scheduler jobs and dependencies in accordance with job requirements
    • Daily SVRADM check and clean-up
    • Monthly user clean-up
    • Resolves questions, issues, and concerns regarding the production or development campaign environment
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all campaign related MML issues
  • Provide Unica IMO / A-Plan Admin support for the following :
    • New User Adds
    • Account Re-Enables
    • Password Resets
    • Attachment Assistance
    • Global Workflow Enhancements
    • Cognos Reporting Changes
    • Form and SQL Server System Table Modifications
  • Environmental Support including:
    • Windows Server Monitoring and Tuning
    • Participating in software/hardware configuration, releases and installation tasks
    • WSFTP user creations, key exchanges, testing and monitoring
    • Ad-hoc sftp transmittals when required
    • Gain familiarity with internal search utilities and process as requested
    • Perform mainframe POS Pricing requests (CCAR-Weekly, EOB, RRA, MRC)
    • Daily Unica server admin check and clean-ups
    • Daily AdTempus monitoring checking for any job-related alerts
  • Additional expectations :
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5+ years relevant experience in Unica Campaign Admin support
  • Strong experience in Software Engineering practice
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Experience in Windows operating system management, Server Management.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Campaign Management software and principles used for targeting, segmentation and response tracking.
  • SQL development experience using a large scale RDMS such as Teradata.
  • Experience serving as an administrator of a secure production environment with duties including user additions, misc. configuration changes, code deployments, scheduling and job monitoring.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Results-oriented and diligent with a sense of urgency
