Job Title: Software Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Advisor to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on building CI/CD solutions on OnPrem/Cloud and driving Continuous Delivery framework and focusing on automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert advice on building CI/CD solutions on OnPrem/Cloud
  • Drive Continuous Delivery framework and focusing on automation
  • Strong knowledge of one or more popular cloud computing platforms
  • Maven & Gradle build frameworks
  • Use and understand tools such as GitHub / Jenkins / Artifact Repository / Code Quality tools/ DevSecOps Tools
  • Detail oriented with strong critical thinking, communication, and research skills
  • Exposure to Agile practices/Methodologies
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
  • 8+ years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic network topology and troubleshooting
