About Evernorth Health Services:

We create pharmacy, care, and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality. Our team is looking for a skilled Software Engineering Advisor to join our Data & Analytics organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand FHIR Implementation guides & FHIR standards, data requirements and mappings specs.
  • Work closely with product owners to clarify requirements and constraints.
  • Build ETL pipelines that handle data extraction, transformation, and loading efficiently.
  • Deploy code using CICD tools and support production deployments.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through automation.
  • Optimize ETL jobs for performance and minimize downtime.
  • Primary focus on rigorous testing to ensure compliance with FHIR standards, data accuracy & quality to end-users.
  • Investigate and resolve defects reported by end-users.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of scripting experience in Python or PySpark.
  • 5+ years of database experience in ETL testing or API testing.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with GITHUB.
  • Experience in writing complex SQLs & SQL Tuning.
  • Exposure to AWS services - Glue, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Step Functions, Opensearch, DynamoDB etc.
