Role: Senior PHP Full Stack Developer

Timezone: US Timezone = 3pm to 12am midnight Indian Time

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

We are looking for a senior PHP developer to join our team. You will be working on multiple projects in wordpress and laravel including numerous javascript plugins. There is an aspect of maintenance and support and also new functionality development. This will be a largely self managed role, so being a self starter and having organizational skills is a must.

This role also requires you to oversee and mentor intermediate PHP developers. So you must have a good amount of experience. This role reports to the CTO.

Responsibilities

  • Get acquainted with our various applications
  • Ensure good architectural design and direction
  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug features
  • Perform integration and testing before going live
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Support and maintenance for both wordpress and laravel based applications
  • Pair program with other team members to ensure code quality
  • Use security best practices when deploying applications
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Readiness and motivation to address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience working with Laravel, Wordpress or relevant experiences
  • Experience developing web-based applications in Laravel, Wordpress, JQuery
  • Strong experience in MySQL and migrations
  • Experience in developing and using API gateways
  • Experience in CSS3 and familiar with frontend development
  • Understanding of DevOps and SaaS platform operations like AWS
  • Familiar with git branching based development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge, developing large-scale consumer-focused applications
