Video Producer – Cricbuzz (Full-time, Mumbai Office)


About the Role:

Cricbuzz is looking for a sharp, creative, and cricket-savvy Video Producer to join our Mumbai team. You’ll be the driving force behind the kind of videos millions of cricket fans love—match promos, social videos, editorial explainers, and everything in between. From scripting to final edits, you’ll help bring the game to life on screen.


What You’ll Do:

  • Conceptualize and produce video content in line with Cricbuzz’s editorial and brand tone — from long-form discussion shows to short-form reels.
  • Write engaging scripts, catchy hooks, and witty headlines in English (and a bit of Hindi where needed).
  • Collaborate with editors, anchors, and designers to turn ideas into polished, high-performing videos.
  • Oversee the entire production process — ideation, scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing.
  • Sit on the edit table and ensure the final output is crisp, smart, and platform-appropriate.
  • Create new ideas for video formats across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.).
  • Stay on top of cricketing trends, moments, and narratives to turn them into engaging content.
  • Work closely with the marketing and social media teams to ensure content aligns with the overall communication strategy.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge and passion for cricket — you should speak the language of the game.
  • 3–5 years of experience in video production, preferably in sports or digital media.
  • Excellent command of English and basic working proficiency in Hindi.
  • Skilled in scripting, ideation, and storytelling for both short-form and long-form content.Familiarity with edit workflows (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) and a good visual sense.
  • A quick thinker who thrives under pressure and enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
  • Ability to pitch, write, and produce fresh, platform-native video ideas daily
