Position Title: Lead Membership

Reports to: Cluster Head (ASG)

Location: New Delhi

Experience Required: 15+ years

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Strategic Leadership & Team Management
  2. Lead and manage a pan-India membership team with clear goals, regional strategies, and performance metrics.
  3. Build a high-performing, empathetic team culture rooted in excellence, responsiveness, and accountability.
  4. Coach and mentor team members, ensuring consistent growth and capacity building.
  5. Cross-functional & Institutional Coordination
  6. Act as the central coordination point across ASSOCHAM's regional offices, sectoral councils, and thematic verticals.
  7. Ensure consistent alignment and synergy between membership goals and broader institutional priorities.
  8. Facilitate knowledge-sharing and joint initiatives across internal departments to deliver integrated member value.
  9. Membership Acquisition, Retention & Value Delivery
  10. Oversee strategic outreach to attract high-value members across sectors—corporates, MSMEs, startups, institutions.
  11. Design and implement member engagement frameworks that cater to varied stakeholder needs.
  12. Ensure seamless onboarding, retention, and satisfaction across the entire member lifecycle.
  13. Stakeholder Relationship Management
  14. Serve as a trusted interface for senior industry leaders, board members, and institutional partners.
  15. Handle escalations, grievances, and high-level communications with diplomacy and tact.
  16. Drive long-term relationship building that contributes to thought leadership and policy initiatives.
  17. Data, Reporting & Process Excellence
  18. Ensure robust use of CRM systems for tracking and analytics across the membership lifecycle.
  19. Lead data-driven decision-making through reports, insights, and predictive engagement planning.
  20. Institutionalize SOPs, documentation, and review mechanisms for operational rigour.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  1. MBA -Sales/ Marketing or an equivalent degree
  2. Prior experience managing large teams and working with senior-level stakeholders is essential.
