Assistant Director – Growth (Sales + Marketing + Partnerships)


Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Reporting to: Founder

Verticals: ISSA Certifications · URJA Inside for Gyms (UIG™) · URJA Experience (Hospitality)


About the Role

UF Academy & Studios (UFAS) and its subsidiary, URJA Academy, are rapidly expanding across India, Sri Lanka, and global markets. We are looking for a growth-oriented leader who can take ownership of revenue, develop partnerships, and promote nationwide adoption of our programs in the wellness, fitness, hospitality, education, and law enforcement sectors.


This is a strategic, entrepreneurial position for someone who enjoys building systems, increasing sales, and entering new markets. You will work directly with the Founder to grow ISSA certifications, expand the UIG™ model into gyms across India, and establish URJA Experience partnerships with hotels and resorts.


Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Growth – ISSA · UIG™ · URJA Experience


•Own quarterly and annual revenue targets for ISSA certifications and UIG™ onboarding.

•Drive lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion strategies.

•Develop structured outreach for gyms, trainers, hotels, corporates, and institutions.

•Increase ISSA enrollments through digital and offline campaigns, webinars, and partnerships.


2. Partnerships & Market Expansion

  • Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with:
  • Mid-size and national gym chains (Pink, Anytime, Snap, etc.)
  • Independent gyms for UIG™ rollout
  • Hotels & resorts for URJA Experience (Marriott, Taj, Hilton, IHG, etc.)
  • Colleges, universities, skill councils, and government institutions
  • Support expansion into Northeast India, Sri Lanka, GCC, and other emerging markets.


3. Sales Leadership & Pipeline Creation

  • Build and manage a high-performance inside/outside sales system.
  • Lead outsourced partners and internal executives toward target achievement.
  • Track performance through dashboards, CRM processes, and structured reporting.


4. Brand Evangelism & Product Expertise

  • Develop deep expertise in URJA Academy programs, ISSA offerings, UIG™, and URJA Experience.
  • Lead presentations, demos, webinars, and industry events.
  • Ensure consistency across decks, proposals, brand messaging, and sales collateral.


5. Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Design targeted campaigns for gyms, trainers, and hospitality partners.
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams on promotional assets.
  • Track competitor activity, pricing shifts, and wellness industry trends.
  • Support digital storytelling for ISSA, UIG™, and URJA Experience.


6. Strategic Projects

  • Co-develop the UIG™ franchise/licensing model and onboarding playbook.
  • Contribute to investor decks, YC preparation, and institutional pitches.
  • Build referral networks and community-led distribution channels.


Professional Experience

6–12 years of experience in:

•Wellness & Fitness industry sales

•Hospitality partnerships

•Gym franchising/business development

•Education/EdTech/Skill development

•Proven ability to close deals, manage pipelines, and build strong relationships

•Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
