Position: Assistant Front Office Manager

Location: Kahani Paradise, Gokarna

Kahani Paradise is a boutique luxury hotel set on the stunning coastline of Gokarna. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team and ensure seamless guest experiences while supporting the overall management of the Front Office operations

.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in overseeing daily front office operations including reception, reservations, guest services, and concierge.
  • Ensure a warm, professional, and memorable welcome for every guest.
  • Handle guest concerns and requests efficiently, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain and enforce SOPs for front office procedures, check-in/check-out processes, and guest interactions.
  • Manage and train front office staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Assist with billing, cashiering, and night audits, ensuring accuracy in front office accounts.
  • Manage and optimize PMS / POS systems for operational efficiency.
  • Support in preparing front office reports and tracking guest feedback.
  • Maintain effective vendor, travel agent, and OTA relations where required.


Candidate Profile
  • 2–4 years of front office experience in luxury or boutique hotels.
  • Prior exposure to PMS (Property Management Systems) and POS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a hands-on role.
  • Knowledge of hotel administration basics (billing, guest folios, reporting).
  • Flexible, willing to work in a remote luxury destination with a small, close-knit team.
