Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer, with a focus on CMDB configuration, customization, and integration.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and GlideScript for ServiceNow development, including scripting, UI customization, and workflow automation.

- Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, ITIL principles, and best practices for configuration management, change management, and service asset and configuration management (SACM).

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management modules for automated data population and dependency mapping.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex CMDB issues and recommend effective solutions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CMDB federation and integration with external data sources, third-party systems, and cloud platforms using REST APIs, web services, and middleware.

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, technologies, and standards, including networks, servers, databases, cloud services, and virtualization.

- Familiarity with data center operations, configuration management tools, and IT asset management (ITAM) practices.

- Understanding of IT security principles and practices, particularly related to CMDB access control, data encryption, and compliance requirements.

- Project management skills and experience leading CMDB implementation projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
