Position Overview


We are seeking a talented Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects and scrum processes. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of Agile practices, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement in our development processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing scrum teams in a fast-paced environment.


Core Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage multiple project scrum teams within the Engineering Department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products within agreed timelines.
  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are conducted effectively and with maximum team participation.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Coach and mentor scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Track and communicate project progress, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and visibility into the project status.
  • Identify and address any impediments or roadblocks that may affect team productivity, working collaboratively to find solutions and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices, implementing best practices and introducing new tools or techniques to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new Agile methodologies, and emerging tools, recommending and implementing changes as appropriate.


Key Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing Agile development teams.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and software development practices.
  • Experience facilitating scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile practices and values.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.,Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira) and collaboration platforms.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment, preferably with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Qualification & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
