JobDescription This highlytechnical role provides Design and Implementation/rolloutConsultancy services for Junipers Solutions targeted at Enterprise& Service Providercustomers.
Thisrole encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from Solutiondesign HLD & LLD design implementation and migrationplanning rollout support supporting highly escalated issues inproduction working with Engineering team to identify changes in theproduct architecture guiding other theatre PS consultants on thesolution testing optimisation services customer training and KTworkshops and be a trusted advisor. The PS Consultant is expectedto work collaboratively & Cross functionally with otherteams like REs SE s CFTS JTAC and PS theatre deliveryteams.
Responsibilities:
  • Workin a consultative manner to support SDWAN SSE/SASE Wireless andWired enterprise solutions(Campus and Branch switching andWireless) and NAC and Security towards the endcustomer.
  • Develop and maintain the overallenterprise network architecture strategy in alignment with customers goals and objectives.
  • Design and architectendtoend solutions incorporating routing switching security andother relevant technologies.
  • Evaluate emergingtechnologies and trends in the networking industry assessing theirpotential impact on the enterprise networkarchitecture.
  • Lead the integration of newtechnologies into the existing networkinfrastructure.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including Juniper TAC PLM &Egineering to ensure seamless integration of networksolutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gatherrequirements understand business objectives and translate them intoeffective network designs.

  • CoCreating &customizing Site implementation Plans (i.e.RunBooks)

  • Testing Designsfeatures
  • Knowledge Transfer on Mist deploymentand operations
  • EVPN/VXLANbased campus/branchswitch network.
  • Mistbased wirelesssolution.
  • Develop and maintain an indepthtechnical knowledge of the Juniper QFX EX Junos and MIST productlines.
  • 802.1X Network Access controlintegration and design
  • Lead deployments toensure that implementations are consistent with designspecifications
  • Providing KT workshops totransfer knowledge to partners Customers andJTAC.
  • Applying industry best practices to thedesign planning site rollout support andimplementation.
  • Applying extensive industryexperience to optimize solution design and proactively analysepotential enhancements.
  • Evaluating technicalspecifications for interoperability.
  • Producenetwork implementation and migrationplans.
  • Provide remote monitoring support withongoing implementation support including healthchecks.
  • Provide recommendations to customersabout network improvements.
  • Participate inrequirements and scoping workshops with customers delivery partnersand sales.
  • Customisation and third partyintegration using automation scripts/templates.
  • Evaluate customer networks forperformance scalability and security and provide recommendations tocustomers about improvements to network configurations andtopologies to prevent problems before theyoccur.
  • Ensure that PS aspects of engagementfollow engagement and delivery processes working closely with theappropriate Project or Program Manager.
  • Developand maintain strong relationships with the customers technicalmanagement and teams.
  • Reviewingcustomerprovided (technical)information.
  • Assisting with handover toOperations or a Juniper Networks OperationalRE.
  • Support for customerdriven testingproviding technical feedback not only on the product but also onthe validity of the test.
  • Tracking andreporting of issues found during testing Implementation andmigration.
  • Working with customers acrossdifferent timezones.
Qualifications:
  • Expertcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Rightattitude of customer first & focus so that you can closeout operational challenges on both sales and delivery with CSSSales Partners or other Juniper players.
  • Strongdesign and delivery experience.
  • Strong skillsand excellent handson and planning capabilitieswith
  • DC and Campus fabric implementation withJuniper EX and QFX or Similar products from CiscoArista.
  • Juniper SRX SSR(128T) or other SDWANProducts like Versa Cisco Viptela Silverpeak.
  • Mist AP and Cloud or Similar cloud basedwireless solution from other vendors like Aruba Extreme NetworksCisco Meraki.
  • Experience of designing anddeploying RADIUS and NAC enterprise solutions using Cisco ISE ArubaClearpass Forescout or similar vendors.
  • NetworkOS like Junos or IOS.
  • Layer 3 IP and relatedtechnologies
  • Experience in advanced Datacentretechnologies VxLAN EVPN MCLAG IP FabricGBP.
  • Sound knowledge of Enterprise networkingbackground.
  • Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet802.1q/p VLAN BFD STP RSTP ARP LACP VRRP802.1x).
  • Experience with NAT (SourceDestination Static NATPT) and Network Access Control. Hands onexperience on NAC products like Cisco Ice Aruba clearpass forescoutetc.
  • Handson experience with Linux servers andnetwork services (DHCP SNMP FTP TFTP DNSNTP).
  • Familiar with Wireless technologies likeIEEE standards (bgn acax) 802.1xWiFi.
  • Strong knowledge of Controller based orcloud based wireless management andsolutions.
  • Experience designing deployingconfiguring supporting troubleshooting debugging and administeringsome of the following Wireless LAN products devices andtechnologies for small medium large and/or enterprise businessessuch as the following: Wireless Access Points Wireless ClientAssociation Wireless Controllers CSMA/CA RTS CTS protocols RFtransmission/site survey Antennas
  • WEPencryption (Wired Equivalent Privacy) WPA (WiFi Protocol Access)WPA2.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Virtualizationand Hypervisor Technologies like ESXiKVM.
  • Familiar and HandsOn with trafficgeneration tool (Ixia Spirentetc.).
  • Understanding of Cloud Concept Privateand Public Cloud Design Fundamentals.
  • IndustryCertifications Juniper product certifications(CCIE/JNCIE).
