Job Summary

The Shared Platform Product Team plays a crucial role in developing, overseeing, and introducing NetApp's primary storage and data management products. This team is focused on enhancing product capabilities for NetApp's leading product, ONTAP, and spearheading innovative efforts across NetApp's hybrid cloud portfolio (Public, Private & OnPrem).

One of the key priorities for the Platform Product Team is the Unified Management Fabric, which involves aligning Product, Technical Marketing, Go-To-Market strategies, Customer Value Enablement, and Lifecycle Management practices across NetApp's product range. The Product Management team aims to drive continuous customer success, boost product adoption, and enhance customer lifetime value across all market segments.

The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) is accountable for leading BlueXP Integrations & Automation initiatives and collaborating closely with Field Technical teams, Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders. This role emphasizes delivering essential technical value propositions to the Field and Customers through various mediums such as presentations, solution briefs, blogs, technical white papers, and conducting proactive field training sessions. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding customer requirements, identifying key product value drivers, and demonstrating how ONTAP offers unique value propositions to achieve customer technical and business objectives.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collateral Creation
  • Create competitive collateral including presentations, videos, blogs, etc.
  • Develop pre-sales guides and demo narratives for technical wins
  • Produce technical white papers, reference architectures, and more
  • Establish demonstration narratives for solutions and products

Capabilities:

  • Hands-on experience in REST-API's, PowerShell, Python & automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • Skilled in scripting, programming, IT Infra automation & monitoring
  • Experience with integrating ITOps/ITSM/CMDB tools
  • Knowledge in storage, computing, networking, and virtualization solutions in a hybrid cloud environment
  • Proficiency in creating diverse content such as videos, presentations, blogs, and technical documents
  • Strong communication skills tailored for different audiences both in verbal and written forms
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively with a global team

Education

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for 6-10 years in enterprise software, IT infrastructure, or technical marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated track record of completing complex technical projects and authoring technical papers
