JobSummary:

Thisposition is responsible for the field sales of the entire portfolioof the company products. This is a sales role for a definedterritory and/or set of end users partners and automation machinebuilders (OEM s). The ASE will work closely with the District SalesManager to develop account strategies and tactics.

The ASE will beresponsible for meeting or exceeding a defined quota at assigned ornewly found accounts and expanding our base of business.

EssentialFunctions:

  • Properly forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with EndUsers Partners and OEMs to reach the quotagoal
  • Utilize the company product sales process to effectivelydemonstrate products to customers and winning large strategicopportunities.
  • Follows up on sales leads and schedules customer visits seeking outlargeopportunities
  • Effectively conducts customer visits in a solution salesenvironment
  • Collaborate with counterparts from other territories onopportunities that are either integrated or installed in adifferent territory or where the decision makers do not reside inthe Account Manager s territory.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries understand system requirements anddifferentiate the companysolution.
  • Assists at trade shows and other marketingevents.
  • Coordinate evaluations utilizing the Applications Engineering team.
  • Maintain and continuously update project information in Sales Book.
KnowledgeSkills andAbilities:

  • Proven track record of sales performance in the automation orsimilarindustry.
  • Proven track record of operating in a solutions sales environment.
  • Uses defined sales process to deliver desired results on aconsistentbasis
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windowsapplications
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time isrequired
  • Ability to work independently isrequired
Minimumeducation and work experiencerequired:

  • Technical Degree or equivalent workexperience
  • At least 2 year automation product proven sales experience and agood track record for exceeding sales targets isrequired
  • Experience in selling technical products to all levels of anorganization isrequired
  • Experience in selling vision products is alsopreferred
  • Has working experience in MNCcompany.
