Primary and must have skills – Sr. Engineer

to years "hands on" application support experience (preferably an BI application) with three tier architecture Good analyzing skills to validate the application logs, Good scripting experience on shell, perl and Python Good in SQL and JAVA programing knowledge Good experience on middle ware technologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attitude for self-learning newer applications Willingness to work in shifts. Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work with platform engineering teams on client issues tracking and resolution. Pro-active identification of 'problem cases' and engagement with Engineering on improvements and fix.

Experience with Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting issues with WebSphere/WebLogic/JBoss Application and web Servers. Experience with installation, migration, deployment of Enterprise Applications using WebSphere/WebLogic/JBOSS Application Server and Tomcat Application and web Servers. Experience with any industry leading Application or BI tool on WebSphere/WebLogic/JBOSS for at least year in Production environment in Cloud environment Experience with understanding and debugging of WEB/JAVA applications, different logging, dealing with performance issues, development and QA support, migration support. Ability to configure Clusters, JMS, Virtual Hosts, JDBC, auto-deployment, session replication, URL redirections, Re-write rules, http-plugins, etc. Good analyzing skills to validate the application logs, Good experience on Thread dumps Good in SQL and JAVA programing knowledge Basic knowledge of network infrastructure for , TCP/IP, DNS, firewall, router, load balancer etc. Adherence to the support processes and best practices and SLA requirements Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and Active directory (AD)/LDAP. Basic Knowledge of infrastructure Monitoring (Nagios preferred)
