Product Testing and Operations Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing test plans to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop appropriate test strategies.
  • Setting up test environments and test cases to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Developing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Conducting functional, integration, and regression testing of software components.
  • Identifying and documenting defects, and working with the development team to resolve them.
  • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of products.
  • Developing and maintaining test procedures, test scripts, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Desirables

  • 1+ years of experience in testing and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
