Global Solutions Consultant

Will be the main point of contact for establishing technical connections with the Global System Integrators (GSI) worldwide. Responsible for fostering and strengthening technical relationships across major accounts, sectors, and business units within the GSI. Contributing to the creation of new markets and opportunities for Hitachi's solutions and technologies.
Responsibilities- Understand the GSIs' go-to-market strategies and key projects.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders at the GSI involved in Go-To-Market strategies and Key Projects.
- Promote Hitachi's technologies and solutions within the GSIs' Go-To-Market strategies and projects.
- Utilize business expertise to convey technology and solutions into practical use cases and advantages for the business or end-users.
- Evaluate the necessity and market potential of specific solutions or use cases.
- Identify skilled individuals within Hitachi, GSI, and third-party solution providers to form a team of experts for developing market-relevant solutions.
- Lead the solutions council to collaborate on building market-relevant solutions with the GSI.
- Collaborate with sales teams to design global Go-To-Market strategies and solution implementations.
- Provide insights to Hitachi's product and engineering teams based on market or GSI feedback to enhance products and address solution requirements.
- Offer technical expertise and assistance to the HDS GSI Sales team, including in-depth knowledge of products, solutions, and services.
- Collaborate with global business stakeholders to define the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder and execute the technical strategy.
- Work closely with the Global Account Managers (GAM) and business leaders to exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Identify skill/technology gaps within the GSI and facilitate closing them through training.
- Ensure GSIs are well-informed and proficient in Hitachi technology and solutions.
- Ensure Hitachi is knowledgeable and proficient in the solutions offered to GSIs as well as competitor solutions.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures, estimate resource needs for unique solutions, plan development timelines, and justify budgets for collaborative activities.
What you'll Bring
- Minimum of 10+ years of technical experience, preferably with System Integrators (SI) or large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across Infrastructure, applications, Digital, and IoT.
- In-depth knowledge of core infrastructure technologies (storage, compute, network, virtualization), cloud services (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Demonstrated experience in independently designing and delivering innovative cloud solutions with elements of analytics and big data.
- Ability to monitor market cloud trends and develop competitive advantages for Hitachi solutions.
- Track record in developing and selling Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
- Experience articulating the value of automation and designing high-level architecture for automation projects.
- Familiarity with digital transformation use cases for various industries, identifying gaps in GSI solutions, and facilitating solutions through collaboration with engineering or third-party providers.
- Continual learning of new technologies and solutions in Big Data and IoT fields, along with deep industry knowledge.
- Proficiency in creating and managing solutions and enablement programs, covering all aspects of the program lifecycle.
- Skilled presenter of sales and technical content to diverse audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective idea presentation and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management capabilities, able to work autonomously and supervise other team members as necessary.
- Confidence and independence in conducting demonstrations, training sessions, and engaging in Business-to-Business scenarios.
Competencies
- Strong understanding of strategic outsourcing (SO) and systems integration (SI) business strategies and delivery models.
- Familiarity with IT Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and cloud computing.
- Experience with applications and solutions related to SAP, HANA, Oracle, and platforms like VMWare, Hyper-V, Windows, and Linux.
- Ability to bridge IT/OT Gap using Hitachi technologies in the Operational Technology (OT) ecosystem.
- Passion for automation, cost efficiency, and innovation, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
- Experience in technical solution development, working with integrators, resolving customer IT issues, and thriving in team environments.
- Proficiency in IT fields focusing on Applications, Compute, Networking, Storage Fabric, and Platform, with critical thinking and problems solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of customers and professionals in various industries.
- Broad understanding of technical, administrative, and financial domains with a grasp of related terms and processes.
