Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our Payroll team.

The Payroll Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, a deep understanding of compliance requirements, and exceptional attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:
Accurately process payroll for all employees on a regular basis.
Ensure timely distribution of paychecks and statements.
Handle any payroll adjustments, deductions, and corrections.

Compliance Management:
Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal payroll regulations and laws.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in the preparation and filing of payroll tax returns.

Data Management:
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
Process new hires, terminations, and other employment changes in the payroll system.

Benefits Administration:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Ensure deductions and contributions are accurately processed in payroll.

Reporting and Analysis:
Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams.
Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
Assist in resolving payroll-related issues and concerns.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Payroll team to support department goals and initiatives.
Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in payroll administration and compliance, with a minimum of [1] year of experience.
Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g. Darwinbox).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Excellent understanding of payroll tax regulations and employment laws.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred

Qualifications:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other relevant certification.
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
Familiarity with Indian payroll and reporting.

Package:
4 Lakhs to 6 Lakhs

Work Location:
