Senior Control Management Specialist

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Control Management Specialist.
In this position, you will:
- Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
- Offer risk management consulting to assist the business in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
- Supervise moderately complex business-specific programs and provide risk management consulting to help the business design and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
- Give guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business-specific programs to recognize, assess, and alleviate risk
- Work together with relevant business group to pinpoint current and emerging risks related to business activities and operations
- Develops and implements risk monitoring and risk reporting procedures that align with the Issues Management Program. Summarizes the results of monitoring efforts, evaluates findings, reports on outcomes, and escalates when necessary
- Creates and executes a control effectiveness assurance program for Front Line-owned controls
- Should have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and be able to propose solutions to presented situations
- Must demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Collaborates with onshore and offshore team members to perform reporting processes for comprehensive, timely, and accurate reporting to stakeholders
- Has expertise in treasury, risk stress testing, control management, Issue management, and risk management such as liquidity risk
- Understands the treasury process with industry best practices, capable of identifying control gaps in the process and suggesting controls to mitigate risks
- Provides Issues Management support across the Enterprise Functions including:
- Issue Management updates, data management, quality control, assurance, escalation, and issue risk acceptance
- Integrates IM with other related programs, provides IM reporting and trend analysis, and focuses on improving IM effectiveness through strategic and tactical activities
- Ensures policy requirements are met, partners with the analytics team to conduct program reporting for Control, business, and senior leadership, goes beyond policy requirements to enhance insight into the issue population
- Comprehensive knowledge of the risk management framework, including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics, and governance
- Managing the Issues Management Lifecycle, tools, and systems from start to finish
- Experience with RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Stakeholder Management
