Job Title: MES Software Engineer/Business Analyst

Company: Join our team at a leading technology company specializing in manufacturing solutions. We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of MES Software Engineer/Business Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Compile relevant information for product and process definition, analyze business and compliance requirements, assess risks, and obtain accurate data for global systems.
  • Support and improve models in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for testing enhancements and backward compatibility.
  • Enhance utilization of MES in manufacturing area, act as the 'voice of the customer,' and ensure system configurations and functionalities meet requirements.
  • Understand master data and the roles of PLM, ERP, MES, LIMS, etc., in manufacturing support.
  • Engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate change and configuration documentation, implementation strategies, and validation activities.
  • Review and monitor implementation activities to confirm proper completion of changes.
  • Ensure system data accuracy through process evaluation and validation.
  • Develop and maintain product/process configurations, collaborate on solutions implementation in PLM and ERP.
  • Identify and support process improvement projects, involving global, cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with peers and subordinates for project/task completion.
  • Proactively create and implement new processes to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively across organizational levels, departments, and global sites.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application configuration and development for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with database teams to ensure service availability, application uptime, and prompt issue resolution.
  • On-call for critical deployments and escalation point for high-priority incidents.
  • Provide solution expertise and internal consultancy for high standard manufacturing solutions.
  • Note: Responsibilities are essential but not exhaustive and subject to change due to business needs.
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer or Business Analyst in MES (Camstar) or similar technology.
  • Experience working with applications in regulated environments, ensuring 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and strong analytical skills.
  • Show passion and initiative in problem-solving.
  • Confidence in resolving complex issues and collaborating with peers for software design.
  • Quickly grasp new concepts, business models, and regional/site-specific requirements.
  • Successfully collaborate with diverse peers and stakeholders, cross-cultural experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP, MES, SAP QM/PP, SECS/GEM, and LIMS systems.
  • Experience as an industrial or process engineer is a plus.
  • Enterprise analysis, business process improvement, and solution proposal development experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, software requirements writing, process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for non-technical end users.
  • Full software development life cycle knowledge using Agile/Scrum Methodology.
Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
