Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the life sciences domain.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of SQL, business process modeling, data warehousing, agile methodologies, user story creation, and Tableau.

This role requires a keen analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.


Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders within the life sciences domain, ensuring clear understanding and documentation

Process Modeling:
Develop and maintain business process models to depict current and future state processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization

Data Management:
Utilize SQL for data querying and analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Data Warehousing:
Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and manage data warehouses that support business intelligence and reporting needs

Agile Methodology:
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

User Stories:
Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development teams in building effective solutions

Reporting and Visualization:
Use Tableau to create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the liaison between business users, IT, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and solutions.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the life sciences industry

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Ability to write clear and concise user stories.
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred QualificationsDomain Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the life sciences domain

Additional Tools:
Experience with additional business intelligence tools, project management software, and data analysis platforms.
