Senior DevOps Engineer- Bangalore - 6+ yrsAre you inquisitive, driven, and forward-thinking? About the teamFIS Digital One integrates various banking modules to provide an all-encompassing banking experience for our clients and their staff, offering a unified user experience with real-time access to customer, account, and transactional data across all banking channels.

What you will be doing
  • Manage Multi Cloud Kubernetes Engineering environments for upgrade and feature development and testing
  • Develop and manage programs, scripts, Kubernetes controllers, cluster APIs to aid in operation and task automation using different shell and scripting languages (YAML, Json, bash, Python, and Go)
  • Document functional product solutions and key FIS financial services opportunities
  • Develop a scalable, secure, high-performance core service layer, integrate it with cloud orchestration and monitoring, write the code, and automate the deployment (CI/CD)
  • Maintain a catalog of reusable functional application components relevant to applications and product lines
  • Collaborate across teams with lines of business and operations to create new functionality


What you bring:
  • 6+ Years of experience in DevOps and Kubernetes
  • CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Extensive experience with tools like git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Working knowledge of Ansible & Docker
  • Experience in designing, building, and optimizing applications containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience maintaining continuous integration software such as Bamboo, Jenkins
  • Experience with build tools such as Maven, ANT, GRUNT
  • Experience with Unix/Shell scripting and PowerShell scripting
  • Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Github Actions, JenkinsX, etc
  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model-driven design-based tools and techniques
  • Expertise in end-to-end systems development life cycles and leading large projects
  • Proficient to expert scripting and automation skills to convert manual functions into fully orchestrated automation
  • Experience in designing and implementing platforms hosting shared services on vSphere, OpenStack, Nutanix, BareMetal builds


Added bonus if you have:
  • Experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS stack
  • A keen interest in Cloud architectures, technologies, and trends
  • Essential programming skills since scripting/automation is integral to the role
  • Exposure to Yaml, PowerShell, Terraform, XML, JSON
  • Experience in DevOps concepts and technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or Harness)
