Position Summary:

Assistant Ocean Freight is responsible for supporting the Ocean export & Import activity on day-to-day basis. The scope covers entire activities of Ocean freight operations. This role will actively engage in 1st level support to the Ocean export or import Operations, generating reports in timely manner and informing timely.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accepting booking from the vendors, Acknowledging, Documents checking, & providing confirmation booking numbers Placing Inttra and online booking with Shipping Line. Coordinating with Shipping Lines for DO, form 13, submitting loading list, loading conformation. Tracking container (Location). Coordinating with the team, CHA, Shipping line, Overseas & agents for daily status & Sending Pre-alerts to overseas, Updating DSR on daily basis Reports to the buyers , Creating reports using stored procedures, MS Excel and ensuring timely submission Involving in feasibility study and system design analysis on new module development Documenting technical manuals [SOP] Communicating and gathering requirements from users and provide feedback to the manager Maintaining highest levels of confidentiality in handling all matters

Skills & Knowledge

Graduate with relevant experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in Ocean Freight Operations. Good interpersonal skills
