This position requires experience in Informatica Platform Administration. This requires experience in administration and management of Informatica Power center tool, user groups, permissions, configuration of various services in Informatica power center and other Informatica products administration ( i.e. EDG, IDQ, AXON, EDC) will be required.

Experience in bug fixing and development is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Administration and management of Informatica Power center tool, user groups, permissions
  • Configuration of various services in power center
  • Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in Informatica PowerCenter space; should be experienced with installation and setup
  • Troubleshooting experience and handling call with Informatica Product team
  • Strong Informatica and ETL fundamentals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs.
  • Good Communication skills
  • Provides technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to the software products
  • Maintains operational daytoday IT functions of Informatica products
  • Performs root cause analysis to determine nature of software environment issues as they arise and provide the permanent fix for the issues.
  • Experience with multivendor environment and Ability to work in a highpressured, tightdeadline environment
  • Experience in Shell/Python scripting.
  • Cloud knowledge is a plus
  • Good Communication skills

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Has at least 24 years of experience in Informatica Platform Administration
  • Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in PowerCenter space; should be experienced with installation and configuration setup
  • Experience in admin activities in Linux environment
  • Aware of IDQ services and Infrastructure
  • Strong Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated track record of success in delivering Platform Projects
  • Previous handson experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets.
  • Previous handson knowledge of enterprise data governance tools and data profiling tools such as Informatica Axon, EDC, IDQ is a Plus
  • Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "oncall" support when necessary to solve high priority incidents/problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Has at least 2-4 years of experience in Informatica Platform Administration

  • Experience in admin activities in Linux environment
