Sr. Manager, Digital Campaign Operations

Position Requirement:
• Must have 8+ years of experience in quality assurance for digital marketing campaigns & integration
• Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (email, ad serving platforms, social), including platform capabilities and implementation
• Experience in Marketing Automation tools
• Strong experience in Campaign integration
• Experience in Marketing Operations
• Candidates with experience in Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) practices and system implementations strongly preferred
• Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics strongly preferred
Role & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for functionally managing Campaign Development tasks for sponsorship programs.
• Perform daily stand ups with a functional team in order to assess issues, delays, and resolve/manage.
• Troubleshoot issues to satisfactory resolution and make recommendations on prevention, risk areas to management
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on various products sold within the Medscape Sponsorship business
• Act as a point of escalation for the functional team to diagnose, resolve and manage the daily flow of tasks
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert on Medscape-platform capabilities used in sponsorship campaigns
• Monitoring functional team productivity and quality: Presenting post-mortem analysis, root cause analysis and preventative/corrective actions. Strategic Initiatives for Productivity and Efficiency
• Responsible for identifying, planning and directing strategic and operational projects that improve efficiency and productivity for the team(s). Must be comfortable with data, ability to understand business problems, synthesize data, and draw conclusions which result in projects
• Work with other team leaders to improve cross-team efficiency (web and email teams, QA and others)
• Prepares business cases, including current documentation of process, phases of process re-organization, and execution plans. Campaign Build
• Configure journey-based digital marketing campaigns by using proprietary marketing & custom data platform
• Creation & communication of metadata values used for tracking & reporting of marketing campaigns
• Manage project timelines, escalating issues that may be obstacles to meeting projected dates
• Oversee ad serving of sponsored assets, including intake process, implementation, launch & optimization
• Code promotional materials using HTML/XHTML, CSS & JavaScript in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Organize sponsorship materials for submission to QA team for final review & approval Knowledge Management:
• Support maintenance of knowledge library & work instructions for execution references
