Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Developer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, Laravel, SQL, and JavaScript, with a proven track record of developing robust and scalable web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of web development best practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends. Additionally, experience in mobile app development will be highly regarded. We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades who is keen on growing into a Team Leader role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure that applications adhere to SEO principles.
  • Participate in mobile app development projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
  • Extensive experience with the Laravel framework and SQL databases.
  • Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress core software and its functions at the code level.
  • Experience with RESTful API and GraphQL integration.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of AWS services.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
  • Experience in mobile app development is a plus.
