Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline of deep tech technology start-ups focused on solving real world cybersecurity industry challenges in various domains.
  • Assess the start-ups and map them with the National CoE program.
  • Plan and calendar the process of start-up on boarding and engagement for a result-oriented incubation process aligned to objectives of NCoE.
  • Maintain continuous engagement and connect with accomplished researchers, industry professionals and experts in various fields of cybersecurity to aid as jury, future mentors and potential adopter of the startup technology.
  • Engage with various other stakeholders to accelerate startup ecosystem.
  • Plan, manage and engage for day- to- day and periodic interaction with start-ups for, regular tracking of milestones, their progress and capturing their requirements/ needs which can aid their acceleration, and market adoption.
  • Maintain the repository of interactions with the start-ups, their progress, achievements, and requirements.
  • Keep the startup technology database updated.
  • Plan and engage with startups for various technical sessions.
  • Keep startup compendium always updated in various forms as required for events and the website.
  • Develop and expand mentor network and coordinate for mentorship sessions.
  • Develop, expand, monitor, and engage for fruitful investor's community connect and financial investment opportunity through investor's community and various other govt or other schemes for startups in cybersecurity technology development. Closely track investment opportunities.
  • Manage the working portal for National CoE incubation program.
  • Contribute to the growth stories of start-ups.
  • Identify, flag, and work on the opportunities for start-up growth and market development.
  • Track and understand the ecosystem players to leverage benefits for the cyber security start-ups.
  • Provide technology support to the start-ups.
  • Maintain relationship with community of start-ups, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts.
  • Be the switchboard for entrepreneurs to access relevant resources and connections.
  • Plan, Organize/host meetings and events for enhancing the prospects of cyber security start-ups.
  • Assist in all NCoE -DSCI events as per requirement of the organisation.
  • Maintain a dashboard for monitoring progress and planning way forward on various aspects related to startup acceleration and associated objectives of NCoE.

Required and Preferred Skills:

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in advising early-stage technology start-ups.
  • Technology Sales experience shall be of advantage.
  • Engineering degree (IT/ Computer Science Preferred) is a must; MBA (Sales) degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with digital/ emerging technologies.
  • Excellent written & oral communication and program management skills.
  • Should have Adaptability, deadline driven attitude, cordial approach and must have passion to undertake the cause.
  • Must possess creative thinking, humility, and good listening skills.
  • Comfortable to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must give importance to giving feedback on the work given.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build and maintain strong working relationships with start-ups, entrepreneurs, mentors, universities, research institutions, industry experts, associations, government, and investors.
