Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager - Capital Markets will play a crucial role in the Capital Markets team by assisting in the debt funding process.

This position will involve actively participating in various aspects of debt capital market activities, including transaction execution, compliance management, and building investor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Mobilization: Responsible for presenting various term loan proposals and Debt Capital Market instruments, covering secured and unsecured products.
  • End-to-End Transaction Execution: Lead transactions from initial investor engagement, deal structuring, and assisting in investor due diligence to finalizing term sheets and deal documentation.
  • Compliance Management: Supervise all compliance aspects related to existing lenders to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Covenant Reporting: Manage covenant reporting throughout the facility life cycle and regularly monitor financial covenants to ensure compliance.
  • Credit Rating Exercises: Actively participate in credit rating exercises to evaluate the organization's creditworthiness and meet credit rating requirements.
  • Investor Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with investors and Assets Under Management (AUM) in the off-book portfolio to facilitate ongoing engagement and support.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 23 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in the treasury/capital market team of another Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with investors and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach focusing on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
