Riverpoint Foods Solutions is a food manufacturing company that is headquartered in Chennai and has a production facility located in Krishnagiri.

The company has several brands, including the "N" Brand for bakery, cakes, confectioneries, and millet-based savories, as well as short eats under the brand "Millet Magic" and other various short eats under "HaaHaar".Currently, the company supplies its products through distributors and supermarkets in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Furthermore, it also offers customized contract-based food manufacturing to various major brands in FMCG and food supply companies, such as Nilgiris, Reliance, and other upcoming QSR and food brands.

With a strong pipeline of innovative food products in the bakery and short eats portfolio, the company is planning to scale up its production.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out our sales and marketing strategy, sales forecasting reports, and sales pipeline.

You will then monitor our sales performance to expand our company's market share. Your collaborative nature will help you succeed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales and marketing teams.

,Area Sales Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for Primary and Secondary targets.
Responsible for product placements in GT & MT in the assigned territory.
Identify and develop key clients and business excellence.
Appointment of distributors and super stockists to ensure product distribution and availability in the trade.
Creating retail master list viz., database in the respective territories.
Primary and Secondary targets.
Monthly sales planning and forecast.
Stock rotations to ensure minimum returns /expiry from the channel.
Channel Management -Respective SKU's availability as per the market requirement.
Cost Management to achieve allocated budget.
Data Analysis and Annual Operating Plan.
Competition tracking and proactive plans to counterattack.
Allocation of Manpower in the respective territories.

Mentor, motivate and guide team members to achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly targetsTraining and developing the associates (Van salesmen, Distributor salesmen) to have cordial relationship with the trade to enhance business and deliver the AOP.


Area Sales Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field is preferred

Proven sales experience:
sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
