Senior Applications Analyst (ServiceNow) Role:

As a Senior Applications Analyst (ServiceNow), you will:

  • Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions meeting user needs.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure technology outcomes align with the overall business strategy.
  • Perform investigation, evaluation, and documentation of system design findings.
  • Ensure users comprehend business system functions.
  • Create and apply diagrams representing data flow, processes, and data transformation within various systems.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.
  • Experience supporting application development with ServiceNow, not solely admin/ticketing.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL principles.
  • Ability to work with multiple business systems and grasp system design.
  • Analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • ServiceNow certifications like Certified System Administrator (CSA) are advantageous.
