Job Title: Test Automation Framework Lead

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in defining the test automation framework, taking the lead in automation initiatives, and implementing the best automation tools and practices for the testing team.


Primary Responsibilities :
  • Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting for testing assignments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned testing tasks.
  • Lead domain knowledge building and train the team as necessary.
  • Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for the UAT.
  • Highlight test risk and issues at management level.
  • Support the Project Manager(s) by contributing to the Test Plan(s) for the relevant test phases and reports.
  • Prepare where required: Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.
  • Work closely with the stakeholders in preparation and execution of the planned functional testing.
  • Collaborate in the analysis and reporting of test results, working with business, technology, and support areas to investigate and interpret findings.
  • Sound knowledge of Defect Management Process and handling its different phases.
As a member of the Test Workstream, participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Conditions, and Test Scripts
  • Develop automation approaches for various types of testing for web/UI and database applications.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Perform End-to-End and White box testing.
  • Run SQL queries as and when required.
  • Understand the scope of testing and review of requirements, document and prepare the test plan based on realistic targets.
  • Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and release updates.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Risk-based testing models.

Requirements :
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in automation testing with analyzing requirements, executing and documenting tests, and performing automated testing scenarios.
  • Post-release sanity checks and testing experience is required.
  • Proven ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.
  • Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.
  • Knowledge of SQL Querying skill is required.
  • Should have experience in API testing using Postman.
  • Strong knowledge in Web-Based application testing.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Must be experienced in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white and black box testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a great advantage.
  • Experience with load testing is a great advantage.
