Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to join our dynamic software development team.

The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, guiding a team of testers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test planning, execution, and team coordination.

Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Team Management:

  • Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Distribute testing tasks among team members and ensure efficient use of resources.

Test Execution and Oversight:

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and critical path.

Defect Management:

  • Implement and manage defect tracking processes, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of defects.

Test Automation:

  • Evaluate and implement test automation strategies to increase testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular test progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and findings.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other team members to address testingrelated concerns and ensure alignment with project goals.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process 68 Years of Experience
  • Working with multiple internal IT organizations and external suppliers, virtually and across different geographies.
  • Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and delivery processes (including waterfall and agile methodologies).
  • Broad experience and deep knowledge in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools.
  • Good understanding of defect & testing tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
  • Good exposure to Bug Life Cycle and Automation Framework.
  • Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing (e.g., 1 or more Saucelabs, Appium, Selenium, & Jenkins) along with automation framework definition.
  • Application of corporate policies and procedures.
  • A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Good learning ability regarding technologies and business processes
  • Strong communication written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test management tools and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in testing and automation in agile and continuous delivery models
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Technical curiosity and desire to innovate
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Responsible to communicate across the testing community and development teams; Sharing knowledge via training session.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding testing progress and timelines by providing testing reports and metrics.
  • Experience in tools and testing methodologies for API, data, load testing.
  • Experience in AWS (understanding of AWS services like SQS Queue, Lambda functions, S3 etc.)
