POSITION:

As Channel Sales Manager based in India, you'll lead our company's expansion, driving a dynamic "sale-out" strategy. We seek a seasoned business development or sales professional with a deep understanding of the Indian market. Your role involves building and managing channel partnerships, prioritizing local distributor engagement, and driving sales for our diverse retail commerce devices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Channel Partnership Development:


•Identify Opportunities: Scout and evaluate potential strategic partnerships.


•Determine the most appropriate distribution channels. This might include direct sales to enterprise customers, indirect sales via e-commerce platform, partnership network, or a combination of these.


•Collaborative Closures: Finalize opportunities with channel partners.

2. Sales Strategy and Execution:


•Compelling Value Proposition: Build & articulate value proposition convincingly.


•Ability to segment the market and provide customized offer for each segment


•Targeted Revenue Strategies: Develop pragmatic sales strategies for achieving revenue goals.

3. Relationship Management:


•Establish a strong after-sales service to address customer concerns and build long-term relationships


•Provide efficient and reliable customer support to enhance the overall customer experience

4. Sales pipe Management:


•Building Sales Pipe: Hunting new business opportunities and build strong sales pipe


•Strategic Insights: Utilize market insights to inform and refine sales strategies.

5. Deep Understanding:


•Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product & solution to partners & clients.


•Build a strong sales pitch for creating value proposition for clients and help partners

6. Customer Onboarding and Nurturing:


•Develop a strategy for onboarding new customers and providing ongoing customer support


•Implement mechanisms for collecting customer feedback and to improve product or service.

7. Revenue Target Achievement:


•Strategic Goal Setting: Set clear and achievable revenue targets.


•Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and adapt strategies for target achievement.

8. Market Expansion:


•Conduct thorough market research to understand the consumer mindset, preferences, and trends.


•Stay updated on market dynamics and competition to make informed business decisions.

9. Reporting and Forecasting:


•Insightful Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance.


•Salesforce Management: Leverage Salesforce for sales pipe management

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Business Development:

Proven track record in channel sales business development.

Executed successful strategies for substantial business growth.

Channel/Distributor Management:

Recruited, onboarded, and managed channel partners.

Established and nurtured strong relationships with partners and clients.

Sales Strategy:

Developed and implemented effective sales strategies.

Applied pricing strategies, promotions, and product positioning for sales growth.

Market Analysis:

Proven ability to conduct comprehensive market analysis.

Experience in identifying market trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.

Training and Enablement:

Background in creating and delivering training programs for channel partners.

Ability to provide ongoing support and resources to enhance partner capabilities.

Negotiation Skills:

Strong negotiation for securing favorable deals.

Experience in negotiating and finalizing agreements with channel partners / clients.

Understanding of legal and contractual aspects related to partnerships.

Performance Monitoring:

Ability to drive KPIs for teams & partners.

Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve partner performance.

Communication Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.

Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.

After-Sales Support:

Strategic Expansion Planning: Explore new territories systematically.

Effective Partner Identification: Identify and evaluate potential channel partners.

Customer Focus:

Customer-centric approach for satisfaction and long-term relationships.

SOFT SKILL:

  • Effective Communication: Proficiency in English, with an advantage in Hindi and other Indian languages
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, sales, marketing (master's preferred).
  • Business development experience (minimum 4 years).
  • Proven track record (minimum 2 years) of successfully building sales through channel partnerships.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools (Salesforce).
