About the Company:
We are a budding home decor startup, yet a leading one in the D2C space.
Two years ago, with a small team from Indore, we launched our game-changing self-watering planters. We believed then, as we do now, that home decor should be both beautiful and hassle-free.
Our self-watering plants with planters were an instant hit. Customers loved the idea of watering their plants just once a week. It has made plant parenting a breeze. And with their continued support, we have become known for delivering top-notch products that combine style and function seamlessly.
Our goal is to shake up the home decor industry by offering innovative solutions. We promise quick delivery of live plants, stunning design, premium quality, and easy plant care.

About the role:
- The Accounts & Finance Head will oversee all accounting and finance functions within the company. Responsibilities include managing sales invoices, payment reconciliation, customer ledger maintenance, purchase invoices booking, GST reconciliation, taxation and GST filings, trial finalization, accruals and provisioning, daily cash and bank management, TDS compliance, inventory accounting, payroll finance, PF/ESI compliance, review of secretarial compliances, and MIS reporting as per management needs.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a private company with a turnover of crores, preferably with a CA qualification and experience in D2C companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and finance activities.
- Manage sales invoices and payment reconciliation.
- Maintain customer ledger and handle purchase invoices bookings.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws and GST filings.
- Finalize trial balances and manage monthly book closure.
- Handle accruals and provisioning.
- Maintain daily cash and bank transactions.
- Ensure compliance with TDS regulations and manage inventory accounting.
- Oversee payroll finance and ensure PF/ESI compliance.
- Review secretarial compliances.
- Generate MIS reports as required by management.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in a private company (turnover crores).
- Preferably a CA qualification.
- Experience in D2C companies is preferred.
- Proficient in handling large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in MIS automation.
- Experience in VBA coding/Python coding preferred.
Reporting Structure:
- The Accounts Head will report to the CFO/Founder's Office.
