Job SummaryThe role involves collaborating with Managers and vendors to enhance the procurement process, maintaining a supplier database, reviewing agreements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with business standards.
Competencies:
- Understands FAI product portfolio and develops supplier database.
- Identifies new market entrants for niche support/services.
- Assesses company and supplier strategies for mutual benefits.
- Models cost/price movements and forecasts trends.
- Generates options for outsourcing decisions.
- Evaluates supplier performance using tools like supplier scorecards.
- Monitors and addresses supplier-related issues and drives process improvements.
- Reviews applications/systems, identifies deviations, and provides solutions.
- Optimizes supplier inventory levels and ensures stakeholder communication.
- Drives continuous improvement, automation, and analytics.
Technical Skills:
- KEY RESULT AREAS: 1 Coordinating with Business functions on the Vendor management office requirements 2 Analyzing and providing solutions towards due diligence questionnaires (Vendor Management office) 3 Completing the tiering process in the tool 4 Discussion with US VMO team on the tiering numbers 5 Coordinating with US VMO team on the questionnaires to be submitted to vendors 6 Follow-up and coordinate with vendors for submitting the required reports in time 7 Evaluation of vendor responses along with VMO team 8 Track remediation items 9 Analysis of VMO reports, financial statements, and other supporting documentation 10 Identification of risks and remediation on vendor responses 11 Understand FAI risk exposure with VMO team 12 Preparation of due diligence reports and risk waivers if any and classifying into -High, medium & Low 13 Escalate unresolved items 14 Monthly dashboard reports 15 Manage information Security Audits and remediations 16 Liaise with legal on appropriate verbiages for information security related clauses 17 Working on IT requirements – sourcing vendors, Clearing IT requests 18 Follow up for delivery of IT goods 19 Generation of MIS reports 20 Providing alternate solutions to IT requirements
Educational Qualification and Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Post Graduate.
Professional work experience of 6 to 8 years in Procurement Domain.
