Responsibilities & Skills

Job Description

A proficient candidate will join a team focused on crafting Lattice FPGA software tools in Penang. The role involves contributing to researching, designing, and developing software tools (Lattice IP Catalog) for the Lattice FPGA Module Generator. Innovation in new tools and features to enhance customer experience in Lattice FPGA IP Usage and FPGA issue troubleshooting is key. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams is essential for planning and executing the Lattice FPGA software release cycle, encompassing requirement analysis, feature scoping, development, testing, and validation. Additionally, the candidate will be accountable for maintaining existing software tools and devising enhancement strategies to boost test coverage for elevated product quality.

Responsibilities & Skills

Bachelor, Master​ (Preferably) or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of expertise in EDA SW Tool development or RTL System Design

Experience

Proficient communication abilities

Hands-on experience in FPGA RTL design, testbench development, logic verification, timing closure, and issue debugging, including board validation

Programming proficiency in languages such as C/C++, Perl, TCL, or Python

Sound knowledge of protocols like Serdes interface, Ethernet, PCIe, or DDR Memory is necessary

Preferred

Understanding or background in FPGA architecture, FPGA tools, or system design development
