The teams will be an integral part of AGCO's global ecosystem.

They will work as part of a global cross-function and cross-cultural team, working together to deliver AGCO's purpose to provide Farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world and our vision to be the Trusted partner for industry-leading, smart farming solutions.


What you will looking for:
Buyer, Parts Operational Purchasing

In this role you will be able to work in a genuinely international environment with award-winning, high tech products. We constantly strive to render the best possible service to our customers. constantly improving what we do and how we do it.

Data accuracy and integrity are the underlying foundation to ensure we will have the right part, at the right place when our customers need them.

As a Buyer, Parts Operational Purchasing you will be responsible for general purchasing support of the Parts Purchasing Teams world wide.

Your support will include updating our SAP system with price information, country of origin data, vendor master data information, invoice handling and tracking, investigation of invoicing data errors, root causes and corrective actions within nominated commodity areas.

Setting up sourcing for New Production Introduction (NPI) items.

Updating sourcing rules and other system requirements to ensure a smooth ordering and receiving of items in the respective warehouses.

You will be working closely with the various Parts Purchasing teams in Europe, Turkey, India, China, North and South America.

You will have ongoing cross-functional interaction with Finance, Supply Chain and other teams around the globe.

What you will do:

  • Sourcing of items in the system and ensure sourcing rules allow correct allocation to our warehouses around the world
  • Sending out requests for quotes
  • Uploading price data
  • Review invoice price discrepancies with suppliers and request, where appropriate credit notes to be applied
  • System data maintenance like country of origin, supplier data, item attributes
  • Some limited price negotiations with suppliers
  • Support buyers world wide in their sourcing strategies
  • Pull, compile and analyze data from our systems
  • Request additional information from suppliers (technical data, drawings, supersession, item breakdown and so on)

What you will bring:

  • Desirable business experience of 23 years in a purchasing and/or purchasingrelated role; preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; MS Project experience is an advantage
  • Experience in usage of SAP/ERP systems
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Any additional knowledge in French, Italian, German or Portuguese would be an advantage
  • Being able to read technical drawings is a plus
