The Card Data Science Capabilities and Strategic Analytics is responsible for driving and providing actionable insights, analyses, and recommendations to the leadership team and marketing teams across Chase Card Services including card acquisitions, engagement, and product teams to grow the business.

As the Cards Data Science Capabilities and Strategic Analytics, Associate you will be part of the Card Analytics India team

Job responsibilities

  • In this dynamic position you will be focused on crosschannel and crossproduct analytics and insights.
  • You will focus on analyzing our customers across various card products and lines of business, designing and building solutions such as dashboards, and driving our business growth and holistic marketing strategies by providing innovative ideas as well as actionable insights.
  • This is a high exposure role that offers frequent opportunities to work directly with presidents, general managers, and heads of various card centers of excellence
  • Our business is based on a strong culture of highlyinformed decisionmaking. As such, you will be one who is able to scan across a large ecosystem of data, research, and other customer insights, in order to develop and influence critical initiatives and marketing strategies across teams and channels

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 47 years of relevant work experience in data analytics
  • Extensive familiarity in building analytical solutions and/or statistical/ML models
  • Experience of hands on data analysis using SQL/SAS/Python/Hive. Familiarity in working on Data Visualization tools like Tableau
  • Selfsufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (Teradata, etc.), Hadoop platforms or AWS/Azure
  • Experience working on strategic initiatives across business verticals, cross functional project experience and Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, agile business environment
  • Ability to create project plans and track project status, & experience in Stakeholder management
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related quantitative discipline

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Modeling/Segmentation/Forecasting using Machine Learning (GLM, Gradient Boosting, etc.), Decision Trees/Random Forest, Deep Learning
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry
  • Advanced quantitative degree (e.g. MS)
