Job Description :
We are seeking a Major Incident Manager with expertise in Azure cloud technologies to oversee the efficient and effective management of major incidents.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our Azure-based systems and services are resilient and that any disruptions are promptly addressed, minimizing downtime and impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Major Incident Management : Lead the coordination, communication until the resolution of major incidents that impact our Azurebased services. This includes taking ownership of incidents, assembling crossfunctional teams, and driving the incident management process to resolution.
- Azure Technical Expertise: Possess indepth knowledge of Azure services, infrastructure, and configurations. Provide technical guidance to incident response teams during major incidents to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.

Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with technical teams, support staff, and relevant stakeholders to ensure swift and effective response to major incidents. Facilitate communication and coordination among involved parties.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed incident records, including timelines, actions taken and resolutions.
- Incident Escalation: Understand incident severity levels and ensure appropriate escalation procedures are followed to engage necessary resources and expertise.
- Incident Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the incident management process and contribute to the development and improvement of incident management practices.
- Emergency Response: Be available for oncall duties and respond to major incidents outside of regular working hours as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing major incidents, especially in Azure cloud environments.
- Azure certifications (e.g. , Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of Azure services, and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate incident response activities.
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks and best practices.
- Problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to incident resolution.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
