Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid Business Development Manager role based in Chennai, with some flexibility for remote work.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and create new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall strategic development of the company.

This role requires a dynamic and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitors.
Analyze industry data and insights to stay informed about the latest developments in digital marketing.

Business Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the agency's market position.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, social media, and industry conferences.
Develop a robust pipeline of potential clients and actively manage the sales process from lead generation to closure.

Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and solutions to help them achieve their digital marketing goals.


Proposal Development and Presentation:
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
Effectively communicate the agency's value proposition and showcase its capabilities in digital marketing services.

Negotiation and Contract Closure:
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
Work closely with the legal team to finalize contracts and agreements.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, sales metrics, and revenue forecasts.
Provide regular updates to the management team on sales activities and achievements.


Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other teams within the agency, including marketing, creative, and technical teams, to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.


Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

Keep abreast of industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to position the agency as a leader in the field.


QualificationsMinimum Work Experience - 2+ YearsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).Proven track record of success in business development, preferably in a digital marketing agency (MUST)Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, strategies, and technologies.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
