Our client is a leading material handling systems integrator. They provide overhead conveyors, floor conveyors, special transfer equipment, Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems and other customized handling systems to suit customer's specific requirements for the Automotive and Metals Industry.

Job Description

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive and Metals industry. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the automotive sector, leveraging market insights and industry trends. Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to customise solutions and meet the unique needs of customers. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Coordinate with marketing and branding teams to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials tailored to automotive clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring favourable terms and mutually beneficial partnerships. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Proven track record of success in industrial sales, with a focus on the automotive sector. A strong network of contacts within the automotive industry, including OEMs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers. Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the automotive sector. Ability to lead and inspire a sales team, driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Willingness to travel frequently to meet with automotive customers and attend industry events.
