Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Job Overview:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to drive product development, ensuring that it aligns with business goals and customer needs.Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning it with company objectives and market demands. Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap, outlining the features, enhancements, and priorities for the product's development. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights. Use this data to inform product decisions. Requirements Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements. Create detailed product specifications and user stories. Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to drive product development and launch. Be the central point of contact for product-related decisions. User Experience (UX) Design: Ensure that the product provides an excellent user experience by collaborating with UX designers and user researchers. Product Development: Oversee the product development process, including sprint planning, and monitor progress to ensure the product is delivered on time and within scope. Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate testing efforts and quality assurance to ensure the product meets high standards for performance, security, and functionality. Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, coordinating marketing, sales, and customer support efforts. KPIs and Performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the product's performance. Make data-driven decisions for product optimization. Feedback and Improvement: Gather user feedback, conduct post-launch reviews, and iterate on the product to improve its features and capabilities. Team Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior product managers, fostering their professional development.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree can be a plus. 8+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products. Strong understanding of product management principles, including market research, product development, and product marketing. Excellent project management and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills to convey product vision and strategy. Knowledge of agile development methodologies. Familiarity with product management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence). Experience with data analysis and metrics for evaluating product performance. Strong customer focus and the ability to empathize with user needs.-
