Principal Responsibilities
Understanding of the Client Service delivery and its importance to Internal Groups and External Clients. Acts as the primary contact for investment management firms on domestic and/or international trade communication and settlement issues relating to client accounts held at the back. Responsible for daily cash management of multiple currencies for international portfolios. Determine appropriate cash management actions to be taken. To ensure all client queries are answered timely and accurately, trades are settled within the set deadlines, cash balances are reconciled with client book of records as per the set internal deadlines. Proactively manage workflow, while striving for 100% accuracy, adhering to agreed turnaround to deliver to the client.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Basic knowledge of financial / capital markets demonstrated through good understanding of concepts, theoretical knowledge and accounting / product knowledge. Hands-on experience with MS Office applications (primarily Word and Excel). Good understanding and ability to articulate current role / functional process. Demonstrate through examples/evidence, good written and verbal language skills, team playing capabilities, analytical aptitude, sense of urgency and attention to detail. Understanding of Custody Operations- Trade Settlement / Cash Reconciliation. Specific knowledge of Cash Equities, FI & Foreign Exchange Products, pre-matching, Fail's Management. Knowledge of investment management/asset servicing industry/custody operations, acquired through experience, is critical for this position. Demonstrate client servicing capabilities and excellent communication skills. Must be resilient to pressure and have the ability to adapt quickly. Accuracy and attention to details at all times, and effectively manage deadlines. Timely escalation of unidentified items, risk issues and/or other control gaps within the process is a must. Organizational skills are required to manage conflicting priorities and multi-task functions in a fast-paced team environment. Have an understanding of regulation and risk environment as it applies to the team products. General knowledge of financial products and their operations processing requirements.Experience
A College or University degree in Finance is preferred. Minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification/ or studying towards, is preferred.Working with Us:
