Responsibilities :
As a technical writer for our SaaS products, your responsibilities will include :

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), product managers, and developers to gather comprehensive information about our SaaS products' features and functionalities.
  • Creating and maintaining a diverse range of technical documentation, such as user manuals, API guides, integration guides, release notes, and troubleshooting articles.
  • Crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Organizing and structuring information in a manner that ensures our documentation is easily navigable and searchable for users.
  • Continuously updating and enhancing existing documentation based on user feedback, product updates, and industry best practices.
  • Conducting thorough research and hands-on testing of the product to gather accurate information and validate its functionality.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all customer-facing materials.
  • Developing and maintaining a style guide and documentation standards to ensure consistency and high quality in all our documentation.
  • Working closely with the customer support team to understand common customer inquiries and creating self-service documentation to address these issues.
  • Staying informed about the latest industry trends and best practices in technical writing and SaaS documentation to consistently improve our documentation quality.


In summary, your role as a technical writer for our SaaS products involves gathering information, creating user-friendly documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency, collaborating with cross-functional teams, keeping documentation up-to-date, testing the product, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Skills And Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, specifically for SaaSbased.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong knowledge of the SaaS domain technical writing
  • Solid understanding of software development concepts and experience working with software development teams
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of markup languages, such as XML, HTML, and CSS.
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Demonstrated success in planning and controlling in technical writing and deliverables
