About Businessline/Function:
Global Market Operations also known as COCE (client operating center of excellence) is further divided into 4 departments i.e. Trade Processing & Support, PnL, Client Management & Change Management. Product Control in the wider market outside of BNP is Middle Office. Product Control consists of streams like Documentation & Reconciliation, Trade Support, P&L & Trading Portfolio & controls.
Product Control teams are in regular contact with Market Front Office, Regional Back Office's and Regional Finance & other support teams for their BAU.

POSITION PURPOSE:
- Perform independent controls in order to strengthen the regulatory reporting control framework
- Perform daytoday controls on the regulatory reports prior to submission or post submission.
- Perform reconciliation of Regulatory Reports vis a vis source data / other reports and analyze all resulting breaks.
- Communicate breaks to the concerned teams for resolution.
- Followup with concerned teams till the resolution of communicated breaks.
Responsibilities
- Various ITO team in Asia will send regulatory reports to ISPL Team. Various controls will have to be performed on these reports (in a given timeline/cutoff time)
- Each report will have a defined set of controls which could include:
- Variation compared to previous report
- Consistency check across the report (or compared to another report which include same or similar data)
- Reconciliation with another source of Data
- Depending on the breaks, communicate with the ITO team responsible for the data to investigate the breaks.
- Once breaks are resolved or cleared, provide greenlight for submission
- Keep track of all breaks in order to report KPI of daily/weekly activities
- Any delay in the control process need to be reported to the concerned ITO team.
Leadership and Management reporting
- Actively promote and encourage open communication and escalation of issues and incidents.
- Attend and constructively contribute to all management meetings
- Manage team capacity and monitor productivity, quality and risk KPIs
- Ensure the timely completion of the weekly management reporting and escalation ensuring all items for the week are accurately reported for Operations Management.
TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong Preference to have Bachelor or Master Degree on Economics, Mathematics or Finance.
- Strong Equity derivatives, IRS, FX products & operations process knowledge.
- Strong Preference to have MS skills (VBA, Excel, and Access) would be a significant plus.

Analytical mindset:
Aptitude to understand the F2B workflows and handle exceptional issues with logical mindsets to communicate with Front Office
Organized & good resistance to stress:This is a much faced paced dynamic environment; therefore excellent time management and good positive resistance to stress are compulsory.

Ability to ring the bell for any abnormal trade pattern and escalate in timely manner
