Objectives of the Role:
- Understanding customer needs and aligning product offerings accordingly
- Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process
- Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify sales opportunities
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Contributing to sales strategies and pricing decisions
Your Tasks:
- Understand product/service technical features and benefits
- Create customised sales proposals
- Conduct product demonstrations and address technical queries
- Provide pre-sales support and participate in sales meetings
- Develop technical documentation and deliver product training
- Collaborate with internal teams for successful implementation
- Provide post-sales support and customer training
- Give feedback to product development and marketing teams
- Participate in promotional events
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in sales engineering or related roles
- Strong technical background and communication skills
- Experience in presenting technical products/services to customers
- Interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel
