Objectives of the Role:

  • Understanding customer needs and aligning product offerings accordingly
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process
  • Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify sales opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Contributing to sales strategies and pricing decisions

Your Tasks:

  • Understand product/service technical features and benefits
  • Create customised sales proposals
  • Conduct product demonstrations and address technical queries
  • Provide pre-sales support and participate in sales meetings
  • Develop technical documentation and deliver product training
  • Collaborate with internal teams for successful implementation
  • Provide post-sales support and customer training
  • Give feedback to product development and marketing teams
  • Participate in promotional events
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in sales engineering or related roles
  • Strong technical background and communication skills
  • Experience in presenting technical products/services to customers
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel
