Job Summary:
ScaleFlux is looking for a self-starter that will thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.

The ideal candidate will already know or be able to discover and sell to the key players in our customer's decision-making landscape.

You will play a critical role in winning and driving lighthouse customers and leading our sales development efforts in India.

The Director Sales and Business Development will lead field-based efforts with ScaleFlux to drive proactive adoption and integration of ScaleFlux NVMe SSD products with the world's largest Datacenter and Service Providers.

This role will engage top-tier customers to identify, evaluate, and explore innovative solutions with ScaleFlux products and technology. This role will be responsible for understanding of both supply-chain and payment processing.

Lastly, the ability to understand and champion customer-based product qualifications with the help of our technical team will expedite the cadence of product orders.

A proven robust network of Hyperscale, Webscale, Service Provider, and Enterprise decision makers and a background of selling SSDs is a must.

Candidate should also have a solid understanding of how to "sell-with" top-tier value added resellers and OEMs, and excellent presentation skills where selling against commodity is concerned.

We are seeking individuals who can articulate architectures that address the challenges of next generation software-defined data centers, and actively contribute toward implementing ScaleFlux solutions.

This role will involve working with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and Enterprise customers and the corresponding ecosystem to modernize the cloud infrastructure both on and off-premises.

Our business also requires the ability to position advanced SSD products and innovations in SSD controller/platform technologies for those customers interested in developing their own SSDsLocation :

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or higher education in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experienceEstablished relationships with key contacts at Hyperscale, Webscale, Service Provider, and Enterprise customers.

Functional knowledge of enterprise storage devices and system interactions, including understanding of the key parameters of SSD internal design.
Excellent communication skills, including interacting directly with customers.

Responsibilities:


Devise strategy for selling ScaleFlux into Tier One/Tier Two Hyperscale, Webscale, Service Provider, and Enterprise End-UsersCreate and execute account-based sales plans, in partnership with technical and business operations teams.

Provide clear plans and updates through and regular reporting.
Interface with Product Management, Marketing, and Executive teams to reduce time to transact qualified business.
Evaluate opportunities to drive business justification.

Preferred Key Skills:
Thorough understanding of the Datacenter customer base and qualification processesProven experience delivering successful programs.

Relevant high-tech experience within the server, flash storage, and SSD marketsExperience creating new relationships with ability to discover and interact with key contacts.

Must be able to work on multiple projects independently while delivering on schedule.

Technically savvy to understand key technology issues to drive sales based on ScaleFlux Product ValueSelf-driven and eager to learn new technologies.
