DeloitteIndia is looking for a motivated ESG and Sustainabilityprofessionals to join the Risk Advisory Function. We are lookingfor candidates with approximately 69 years of relevant experiencein India and South Asia which may comprise of a mix of workexperience in one or more of the followingareas:

  • ESG strategy roadmapdevelopment and transformation
  • Social / CSRImpact Assessment
  • Environment and ImpactAssessments and evaluations (ESIA)
  • ESG DueDiligence / compliance audits/ internalaudits;
  • Environment and Social ManagementSystems
  • Climate and Net ZeroTransformations

Preferablelocations: Mumbai / Delhi / Bengaluru

KeyResponsibilities

  • Participationin sustainability and climate engagements for multiple sectors asper regulatory requirements and international standards
  • Manage teams and operational aspects ofprojects
  • Knowledge of Environmental &Social surveys and related management
  • Reviewreports contribute to report writing as well as mentor team withtechnical nuances
  • Interact and respond toclients
  • Support Business development activitiesproposals and business developmentmaterial.

Otherrequirements:

  • Min.Qualification Postgraduate degree (Masterslevel degree)/ BTech in arelevant discipline (i.e. Environmental Science EnvironmentalEngineering Masters in Social Work etc.);
  • Goodunderstanding and interpretation of key international ESGframeworks and standards (e.g. E&S Standards ofmultilateral funding agencies (IFC World Bank ADB) EquatorPrinciples UNSDGs GRI SASB TCFD etc.)
  • Goodunderstanding of Indias regulatory framework in the ESG &Sustainability space
  • Willingness totravel
  • Excellent technical writingskills
  • Language skills (excellent written andspoken English skills).
