JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The position requires to communicate with internal teams & external vendors and resolve realtime issues. An individual will also be responsible for continually reviewing assigned work to ensure it is being completed in the most efficient manner.

The responsibilities include, but not restricted to:

  • Monitor vendor performance for preferred insurance tracking and escrow disbursements for the portfolio through research activities as assigned with high detail resulting in identification of process exceptions as validated against established procedures and compliance requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring effective insurance coverage (Hazard/Flood) to ensure timely placement of lenderplaced insurance in cases where other coverage is not available through review and research validation of set metric measurements
  • Proactively and effectively manage all vendors involved in administering the insurance process at Ocwen through validation of communicated daily/weekly/monthly quality control metrics by holding the vendor to prescribed SLAs, quality/accuracy and reporting
  • Validates Loss Draft claims and ensures that processes are within set procedures. Monitored claims are appropriately actioned and documented
  • Research on escalated items
  • Communicate with vendor on issue findings for remediation and escalating out of standard performance as applicable for insurance tracking and loss draft claims
  • Solves problems rapidly and accurately with mínimal disruption through focus and research of assigned items. Recommend improvement and correction of issues identified
  • Perform ad hoc loan queries as necessary, with management approval
  • Meet required deadlines and think creatively to solve problems with a high standard of quality and efficiency
  • All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of fifteen years of education
  • Logical and Analytical thinking ability to resolve and respond to queries
  • 12 years of Property Insurance / Loss Draft Claim experience preferred
  • 13 years of mortgage loan service experience
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint required (Advanced knowledge in the aforesaid skills preferred)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • No documented disciplinary action in the past 12 months.
  • Should have an Appraisal rating of 'Fully Meets Expectations' or above in the last completed performance cycle.
  • Should have completed 12 months in the organization and 09 months in the current role.

WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Night Shift (5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST)
