Overview of the Role


As an Instructional Designer, you will be part of the Content Development team who is responsible for supporting and coordinating several projects in Learning and Development, Capacity Building, and Community Management.

You will be working on global L&D projects, with international clients from Europe and Africa.


Your ability to create course curriculum, storyboards and embed multimedia based on Bee Skilled's Learning Outcomes Framework approach will be utilized in expanding the company's portfolio in L&D.

Majority of the projects are in the public health sector, focusing on public health, supply chain, human resources, regulatory affairs, among others.

While it is not needed for you to know the subject, we expect you will learn the basics quite quickly.

The projects are funded by Global organizations such as UNICEF, Results for Development, The Global Fund, among others.

We expect you to be Proactive with keen sense of Accountability and Integrity.

You must be able to learn fast about the Company's business model, requirements from several consulting and education projects, learning and development endeavors to be able to provide the necessary support.

Responsibilities and Duties

The below-mentioned responsibilities are duties are to be conducted in close supervision of the reporting or project manager.


Developing content for Bee Skilled's Online Courses or as part of projectsOne of Bee Skilled's primary areas of expertise is developing / digitizing content for e-learning.

As an instructional designer, you will be responsible for:
a.

Prepare course curriculum where needed in collaboration with the experts,b.


Use Bee Skilled's storyboard format to write storyboard based on the expectation from the course, design language and multimedia capabilities,c.


Ensure all content is written in an original format, even when sourced from a third party, with all sources / references identified and collated systematically,d.


Support the entire process of content development including developing PowerPoints, working on Softwares such as Articulate Storyline, Canva, WordPress etc.e.

Discuss, Identify and Develop weekly content for various communities on The Hive Platform in collaboration with the Community manager,f.

Support development of newsletters (provide content) to be sent to subscribers in collaboration with the Community manager,g.

Support Social Media engagement for Bee Skilled community of social media (Facebook,

and Twitter) through identifying relevant content, in collaboration with the Community Manager

Required Qualifications

1.

Master's degree in any Learning & Development discipline, Language or similar area. Certification in Instructional Design will be highly preferred. Any proficiency in French Language will also be highly preferred.2.

Practice experience of working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Canva, WordPress will be an added bonus.
