Job Summary:

The candidate will provide technical expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, rolling out, and maintaining data modeling, reporting, and integration initiatives. Essential Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data validation processes (batch or real-time) utilizing tools such as SQL, Microsoft SSIS, etc.
  • Create functional and technical documentation including data integration architecture documentation, data validation specifications, and data testing plans.
  • Engage in a consultative approach with business users, extracting information to understand the business needs and designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the report team to identify, design, and implement a consistent and user-friendly reporting experience across environments using tools like Tableau, SSRS, and SAP BO.
  • Identify business reporting and analytic requirements by working closely with end users, stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Contribute to best practices in business intelligence competency and implementation methodologies.
  • Establish enduring, trusted advisor relationships with clients.
  • Assess customer needs, pain points, behaviors, growth potential, value propositions, among others.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations and act as the functional expert to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Tableau desktop.
  • Proficient in developing, publishing, and scheduling Tableau reports to visualize trends aligning with business requirements.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, operations research, or related analytics fields. Applicants with BA/BS degrees from prestigious academic institutions are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong comprehension of data integration and validation best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI, as well as database platforms like SQL Server and SQL Data Warehouse.
  • Experience in decision support and business intelligence environments using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects.
  • Preferably, knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant analytics experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are vital.
  • Ability to comprehend cross-cultural differences and collaborate with global clients.


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Data Integration processes such as Data Warehousing.
  • Capability to analyze business requirements concerning data movement and transformation processes, and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Proficient in translating business requirements into technical documents.
  • Skilled at creating comprehensive documentation and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise innovative solutions to unprecedented problems.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Extensive understanding of relational databases and technical documentation.
  • Strong skills in team building, interpersonal communication, problem identification, and resolution.
  • Efficient utilization of SQL and BI tools for validating and elaborating business rules.
  • Understanding of EDM architectures and application in designing effective solutions.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with team members and work effectively with them.
  • Knowledge of leveraging a multilayer semantic model for scalable and durable analytic solutions.
